The Solaratlas contains the calculation of the solarpotential of all roof tops in Denmark. It helps to increase the amount of self produced electricity from solar energy sources to reduce costs for electricity and the dependence from volatile energy prices. The Solaratlas adresses citizens, municipalities or regions and landlords or real estate owners.
Homeowners are getting independent information about the solar potential of their building
Cities are able to unlock all solar potential calculations to foster the installation of solar plants
Landlords and real estate managers with a great amount of buildings are able to request statistical summaries about their houses
We are happy to announce that we have just finished a video about energyroof in danish language and uploaded it to youtube.
The video explains how energyroof can help you to produce solar energy on your roof.

Over 800 energy cooperatives with their 200,000 members make an important contribution to a community-based energy system. They enable a broad economic participation of the population in the transformation of our energy system. But cooperatives are far more than just an investment; they work with many good business ideas in the field. And these activities also take place for the benefit of other decentralized actors. Accordingly, the project ‘energyroof.dk’ of the energy cooperative "Die Energiegesellschafter" is very welcome. For the purposes of the cooperative spirit of self-help a useful information base for the development of decentralized PV systems in Denmark is provided. I wish this initiative every success and above all a considerable number of users.

The future of an environmental friendly energy supply lies in regenerative energies. Determining the potential of solar-based electricity is the first and important step in changing our energy-culture. I wish the project all possible success.
